HPV Elimination – Leading Progress Statewide (HELPS) 2021 – Florida

This conference is created for our friends in Florida, so some of the content will be state specific. However, there is a lot we can learn from our neighbors as we all work to elimination HPV related cancers.

Dear Colleague,

We’d like to personally invite you to an engaging conference in recognition of International HPV Awareness Day. This year’s conference will be the start of HPV Elimination – Leading Progress Statewide (HELPS). HELPS 2021 is hosted by Moffitt Cancer Center and AdventHealth. Our goal is to continue to build the infrastructure and momentum to be the first state to eliminate HPV-related cancers, starting with cervical cancer.

Did you know Florida is among the worst 10 states regarding cervical cancer incidence rates? Florida males have the highest oropharyngeal cancer rate. Only 56.0% of Florida’s adolescents have completed the HPV vaccination series. You are invited to be a champion in this movement. Please feel free to share this invitation with other colleagues.
