  • @teensforvaxx is a nonprofit organization who’s mission is to educate and empower teens to get vaccinated and be champions of public health.

Founder Arin Parsa believes “educating and empowering the younger generation is the only way to overcome vaccine hesitancy and eradicate vaccine-preventable diseases ultimately!” #TNvaxNOW

He gave a presentation on how and why students can become vaccine advocates and help change the future. https://buff.ly/3omf2Sk
  • Great news! Earlier this year, Japan relaunched its HPV vaccination drive. Japan suspended recommendations in 2013 over safety concerns. Now, with a considerable amount of research on both the high safety and effectiveness of the vaccine, they have resumed recommending and supporting HPV vaccination. Although this is excellent news, part of the damage from the interluding years cannot be undone. Young Japanese women went unprotected for many years, and it has been estimated that 25,000 cases of cervical cancer and 5,700 deaths could have been prevented had vaccine recommendations not been interrupted. #TNvaxNOW
