December 2020 Newsletter

Dear ImmunizeTN members and friends,

2020 has been an incredible year in the worst ways. We have experienced deep sadness, loss, frustration, loneliness, and illness.  2020 has also been an incredible year in some of the best ways. This year we have grown closer to some of our family members, discovered new ways to be community, learned new ways of taking care of one another, and made HUGE advancements in medical and logistical science around vaccine development.

As the year draws to a close, the ImmunizeTN steering team would like to thank you for your dedication to spreading awareness about the importance of vaccinations and to countering anti-vax myths. You have truly contributed to saving lives!

2021 will ring in the establishment of ImmunizeTN as a 501(c)3 capable of applying for grants and accepting tax-deductible contributions from its supporters. We will launch our new website and have a presence on Instagram! We will continue the work we’ve started as part of an AAP-funded initiative to create a state immunization work group, and we will continue to educate legislators and community leaders on the importance of supporting public health and immunization-related policies.

We look forward to a 2021 that is free of even more vaccine-preventable diseases because of the work that we are doing together. Thank you so much for partnering with us!

Happy holidays!
